The Westport Community Garden provides garden plots to Westport residents of all ages. Gardeners from school age children to senior citizens can share the enjoyment of growing their own food or flowers, while sharing gardening tips with fellow gardeners. This is a true community of gardeners.

  • The Garden is located on Hyde Lane next to Long Lots Elementary School. Because the garden is on school property restricted access to the gardens during school hours is observed. Please see the registration for details.

  • Gardeners may rent a plot for a season. Due to our increasing popularity, plots are 10' x 20' for new requests. (10' x 40' plots are available for some returning gardeners.) We do have some extra shady spots available, good for lettuce, berries and flowers.

  • No pesticides or herbicides are permitted at the Westport Community Garden
